Well done to all the traders and people of Braunton for putting on a fabulous North Devon Christmas market yesterday. The ferocious weather, heavy rain, fierce hail and extreme wind were a test for all. Everyone braved and survived the storm and had a fabulous time. Stall holders including ourselves were holding tightly on to our gazebos as the vicious winds took force, unfortunately the wind gusts were too much for some poor traders as their gazebos were sailing high into the sky. So sad as the amount of effort and preparation they put in was taken away. Also well done to the Community Centre, The Surf Museum and the local shops for making the day very special and showcasing Braunton, special thanks to the organiser Neil Hampson. Shall we all do it again next year? Yes but please can we have calmer weather.
